About the Gallery
JHS Gallery is a destination gallery for Sacred Art in New Mexico. Our Offerings range in style from traditional to contemporary, and representational to abstract.
Whether grounded in tradition or the personal, innate sense of the spiritual, the work of our artists reflect the common theme of the human encounter with the Divine. Rich in symbolism, the images probe history, culture, mythology, religion, the natural world and the unseen world, as well as the individual human soul. Hoping to evoke more than intellectual stimulation, aesthetic beauty and sentimental feeling, we strive for a dialogue of both mind and heart in the essential human search for meaning, truth and growth.
JHS is located at 302 Camino de la Placita (at Bent St.), just off the Taos Plaza and North of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. We are open Monday thru Saturday from 10:00 until closing and Sunday by appointment.
